Yes there were pirates in the Caribbean however the Great Lakes were full of them too. The most infamous of them was Johnny Rackham. He was feared by anyone entering the massive body’s of fresh water. Legend has it that Rackham was able to steal the pink diamond, a priceless stone traveling from Michigan to England. The giant stone was believed to be in his possession for years. But no one knew his whereabouts.
